End User License Agreement

Version 2.00 (Summary)

This summary provides a brief overview of the Kimera End User License Agreement (EULA v2.00). By downloading, installing, or using any Kimera Font Software, you agree to the full terms of the EULA. A complete version of the license can be downloaded here.

Ownership & Scope
Kimera retains full ownership of all Font Software. Licenses grant usage rights only – they are non-exclusive, non-transferable, and perpetual. All rights not expressly granted remain with Kimera.

Licensee & Purchaser
The Licensee is the business entity for which the typeface is used. A Purchaser may buy the license on behalf of a client (the Licensee) but receives no rights in their own name unless acting as the First Designer covered by the Licensee’s base license.

First Designer & Third Parties
The First Designer – typically the main design studio or lead designer working directly for the Licensee – is included in the base license. Any additional collaborators (e.g. agencies, developers, printers, or post-production partners) require a separate Third Party License. Third Parties may use the Fonts only to create work for the Licensee and must not use them for other clients or self-initiated projects.

License Types
Kimera offers distinct license types for specific use cases: Desktop, Web, App, Social Media, Broadcast, Logo, Student, Corporate, and Trial. Each license defines its own scope and may be combined or upgraded as needed. Custom Typeface projects are governed by the Kimera Custom Typeface License Addendum, which overrides conflicting terms.

Restrictions & Liability
Fonts may not be shared, resold, or used in automated systems, NFTs, or AI training without written consent. Kimera’s liability is limited to the paid license fee. German law applies, with jurisdiction in Munich, Germany.
